Overview

JustDragIt is a lightweight clipboard manager. It is a macOS menu bar app that provides quick access to the current clipboard content and to a certain amount of clipboard history content.

Main App Features

• Drag the current or a previous clipboard content to any suitable destination.
• Keep a clipboard history of up to 100 clipboard snapshots (including the current one). This can be adjusted by the app settings.
• The clipboard history get saved and is available again on next app launch.
• Observing the clipboard content can be switched off and back on. This can be used, for instance, to freeze the clipboard history temporarily.
• Starting with version 2.1 ...
  • Use library groups to organize clipboard content favorites and even content dragged from outside the app into library groups.
  • Library groups can receive data from ...
    • the app's clipboard history,
    • another library group,
    • and even from outside the app just by dragging data, for example snippets, to a library group.

Compatibility

• JustDragIt V 2.x requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
• Starting with JustDragIt 2, the app runs natively also on Apple Silicon powered Macs.

Known Issues

JustDragIt & macOS 15 Sequoia

Embedded Preview views cannot be scrolled

Previews of large snippets and the like, which are displayed directly in the detail views, cannot be scrolled at this time. The reason for this is an already known problem in an underlying framework that is used by JustDragIt and can cause the app to crash.

Therefore, a temporary workaround has been implemented in JustDragIt, which unfortunately prevents the scrolling of the embedded preview views at the moment.
